MANUFACTURE

The path of the tree

Every step we take, from the selection in the forest to the finished veneer, is carefully monitored to guarantee perfection.

Purchasing:

Our purchasers select logs directly in the forest based on their quality and suitability for veneer production.

Storing & debarking:

Logs are constantly sprinkled with water to prevent color change and cracking.

Cut to length:

Based on growth characteristics, shape and length specifications, logs are divided into sections and marked for subsequent sawing.

Cooking & steaming:

Depending on the type of wood and the desired color, the logs are treated in hot water to ensure the suppleness of the wood and the color quality of the veneer.

Knife & peel:

The wood is sliced into thin sheets using precision technology. Precision and experience are decisive for the final quality of the veneer.

Drying, cutting & sorting:

Veneer sheets are dried, cut to size and sorted according to customer specifications regarding dimensions, structure and price.
